Privacy Policy.
This privacy policy describes how mrpodo.com ("the site," "this website") handles information about people who visit it. The site is the personal and professional website of Aaron Podolner. It is intentionally simple and is designed to share information about Aaron's work as an educator, tutor, and author — not to collect personal data.
Short version: This site does not run forms, accounts, newsletters, or trackers of its own. The only data exchanged is the standard request information your browser sends to load any web page, plus what's needed to deliver third-party fonts. Booking and other transactions happen on separate sites with their own privacy policies.
01 Information This Site Collects
This site does not ask visitors for personal information. There are no contact forms, sign-up forms, comment systems, or user accounts on mrpodo.com. As a result, the site itself does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers from visitors.
Like virtually every website, the server that delivers this site receives standard request information from your browser whenever you visit, including:
- Your IP address
- The type of browser and device you are using
- The page you requested and the referring page, if any
- The date and time of the request
This information is used by the hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. It is not used by Aaron Podolner to identify or contact individual visitors.
02 Hosting & Third-Party Services
This site is hosted on Netlify, which processes standard server logs as described above. Netlify's privacy practices are governed by its own privacy policy.
The site loads typography from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives standard request information, including your IP address. Google's use of that information is governed by Google's privacy policy.
The site links out to third-party platforms — including Amazon, Goodreads, LinkedIn, YouTube, news outlets, and the separate Mr. Podo Physics Tutoring booking site — but does not embed tracking from those platforms. Once you click an outbound link, you are subject to that site's own privacy policy.
03 Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. It does not use analytics platforms, advertising networks, or behavioral tracking. If your browser receives any cookies in connection with this site, they are set by the third-party services described above (such as Netlify or Google Fonts) rather than by mrpodo.com directly.
04 Children's Privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the site does not collect personal information from anyone, this is not an active concern, but it is worth stating clearly: no information about minors is gathered, stored, or processed by this site.
05 Tutoring Inquiries
Booking and inquiry forms for physics tutoring are handled on the separate Mr. Podo Physics Tutoring site at mrpodophysicstutoring.com. Any information submitted through that site is governed by that site's own privacy practices, not this one.
06 Your Rights
Because mrpodo.com does not collect or store personal information, there is no personal data on file to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this policy or about data held by the third-party services this site relies on, you can reach out via the channels listed on the homepage.
